Book.ish reimagines the nostalgia of the classic scholastic book fair through an adult lens—creating a space where literature, art, and healing intersect. Designed for those who may have once felt unseen or left wanting due to lack of access or representation, this 21+ community gathering centers BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ voices through curated books from We Are Lit GR, live performances, local vendors, and immersive creative experiences. Hosted by Nye Aririguzo and Phalesha Kyes of By Phalesha Events, Book.ish fosters belonging and collective healing while benefiting The Diatribe, an organization using restorative art to disrupt systems of oppression through education, poetry, and storytelling.
