Phalesha K. brings an extraordinary perspective to event planning—one shaped by resilience, refined by experience, and driven by purpose. As the founder of By Phalesha Events, she combines her lived experience navigating complex systems with a natural gift for logistics and planning.
Her journey from the foster care system to becoming Grand Rapids' go-to event planner for intentional, culturally-rich celebrations speaks to her core strength: turning challenges into celebrations. Phalesha developed an unmatched ability to pivot quickly and see creative solutions in place of obstacles.
Today, she channels her story into her mission: empowering BIPOC and women-owned vendors while creating events that genuinely connect and celebrate.
