JOIN US FOR BOOK•ISH | Sunday, July 19, 2026!

More than just a place to browse books, Book•ish is a celebration of storytelling, creativity, and community.

EVENT OVERVIEW

Book•ish is a reimagined book fair for adults, blending the nostalgia of Scholastic Book Fairs with a mission to uplift BIPOC and marginalized voices. The event celebrates diverse literature, supports local creatives, and creates space for meaningful community connection.  Featuring a curated book selection and community vendors focused on wellness, art, and literature, Book•ish also gives back. Donations support a Community Fund that helps keep books accessible to all, and each year, all proceeds benefit a nonprofit championing underrepresented voices in the arts.

WHO IS BOOK•ISH?

By showcasing BIPOC creatives, offering both print and digital catalogs, and encouraging financial accessibility through our Community Fund, we make books and stories available to everyone.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to create a healing space that:

  • Uplifts BIPOC stories and voices.
  • Supports local entrepreneurs of color.
  • Fosters intentional community engagement.
  • Provides inclusive access to literature and narratives that inspire connection.
